Jason

Jason is the sixth of six polishes I was sent to review from M.T.L Creations' (Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/nl/shop/MyTrueLoveMTL  or Instagram: @Mtlcreations) "True Blood Part 2" collection.

Last but not least we have Jason!  I don't even really know what to say about this colour other than that I absolutely LOVE it.   I know I said Sookie was my favourite but this gorgeous black with blue sparkles comes in a very close second. If you ever needed a perfect base for a galaxy nail design, Jason would be the way to go.  Wear-ability wise, Jason is fantastic!  I wore it for 4 days before taking it off to mess around with some new design ideas.  Not a single chip which is awesome for me since black polishes usually come off within a day or two.  I did want to mention how beautiful the blue sparkles in this polish is especially during daytime hours.  I kept catching myself sneaking a peak at how pretty my nails looked.  As a bonus, I wasn't left with any staining.  High five to that!  Jason is definitely going to be placed in my list of favourite nail polishes.

Pam

Pam is the fifth of six polishes I was sent to review from M.T.L Creations' (Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/nl/shop/MyTrueLoveMTL  or Instagram: @Mtlcreations) "True Blood Part 2" collection.

Now this is a super cool red.  I found this one unique compared to any other red I own already.  I usually have a hard time with red being streaky and staining the absolute crap out of my nails but I was pleasantly surprised when this one didn't! Granted, I didn't have Pam on a very long time (only because I wanted to try and get the last of the swatches done) but two hours to me sounds like a reasonable time for staining to sit in if it was going to.  Pam is another in the collection with a matte-esque finish which was another first for me to see in a red polish.  I really enjoyed that I got a beautiful red without it being an "AHH my eyes, it's super bright so I can't even look at my nails in daylight"  sort of red haha.  I do have sensitive eyes though so I'm hoping I'm not looking crazy in saying that and someone out there can relate to me :)  I really love the effect Pam gives with multiple coats.  I could have got away with just one coat but decided on three to achieve the look I was hoping for.  It's an awesome medium red with beautiful sparkles and great application.  As a bonus there was no pain in the ass removal and a no staining so I have to give Pam an A+ in my books.

Bill

Bill is the fourth of six polishes I was sent to review from M.T.L Creations' (Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/nl/shop/MyTrueLoveMTL  or Instagram: @Mtlcreations) "True Blood Part 2" collection.

This is Bill from M.T.L Creations "True Blood Part 2" collection!  This had to be the hardest polish out of the collection for me to try to photograph.  I tried for over half an hour to get this bad boy to show his colours but alas he escaped me.  Win some you lose from right? haha.  What I love about Bill is that it has a  very cool almost holographic shimmer too it yet it has a matte-esque finish.  I guess he will forever be the polish that got away from me.  I'm absolutely in love with how this polishes' finish is however.  I haven't come across anything like it yet.  I did have troubles with application but because of how every other polish in the collection was, I want to assume it's because my two year old weasel- ehemm sorry, helper- had left the cap unscrewed long enough before i noticed for air to settle into it causing it to be of a thicker consistency.  I can say though that he was very pleased with how his toes looked afterwards haha ;D  This will most definitely be a blue that I will continue to use.  My collection of polish has to be near not if in the 1000s range with blues being a close first place in numbers and Bill being a noticeable first place in finishes.  It's unbelievably beautiful and has scored in the top rankings for blues that I will be using in any sky ombre pattern designs.  I can very well see myself retaking a picture of Bill during the day time to try and catch his gorgeous sparkle.

Sookie

Sookie is the third of six polishes i was sent to review from M.T.L Creations' (Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/nl/shop/MyTrueLoveMTL  or Instagram: @Mtlcreations) "True Blood Part 2" collection.

Sookie is the third polish that I have swatched from M.T.L Creations' "True Blood Part 2" collection.  In all honesty, Sookie is probably my favourite of the polishes I was given to swatch.  As you can tell from my Instagram page (@nailsbylittletweety), pink is not my favourite colour to work with.  But this is a rare circumstance that I have actually found a pink hue that I have come to fall in love with.  Sookie is an absolutely brilliant pink-coral (that makes sense, right?) hue that has snuck it's way into my heart.  If there was ever a shade of pink for me to love, this is it right here.  It was closer to 2am when I took these pictures of this gorgeous polish so I can only let my imagination wonder to what Sookie would look like during the day time.  If it looked this good that late then it's almost guaranteed in my mind that it would be blown at 2pm.  You can just see the glow on this baby from half way across the room (one of my friends had put it on right after I did since it was so pretty so I was admiring her nails ahah). Hopefully any of you other pink-unlovers (or lovers) may find some gratification in this pink as much as I did since this is a pink that's absolutely to die and go to polish heaven for ;D

Adilyn

Adilyn is the second of six polishes I was sent to review from M.T.L Creations' (Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/nl/shop/MyTrueLoveMTL  or Instagram: @Mtlcreations) "True Blood Part 2" collection.

Adilyn, oh Adilyn, where houst thast been for my entire life Adilyn?  I have no idea if that was proper Ol' English or not (probably not, commendable effort though ahah) but JEEZE!  I am seriously in LOVE with Adilyn.  I swear I've been looking for a grey polish with gold specks for what feels like FOREVER.  Ugh!  I'm so thankful I have finally found it.  This was the first polish that caught my eye once I opened my parcel from @Mtlcreations.  I had a chipped up pinky nail so I gave a sneaky swatch to Adilyn on it over the broken cracks of the remainder polish and it was insta-love.  I was so happy once I actually got to put this beautiful colour on for real.  There is not a single con I could say about this polish.  Flawless application, flawless colour, and it's matte.  Perfect.  Seriously, I cant help myself when talking about this polish.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.  It's a must have all together.  The colour combination is perfect.  Personally, I for sure will be ordering more of this polish to wear on an everyday basis since I feel like it can go with really anything.  10/10 for me!

Eric

Eric is the first of six polishes i was sent to review from M.T.L Creations' (Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/nl/shop/MyTrueLoveMTL  or Instagram: @Mtlcreations) "True Blood Part 2" collection.

This is such a gorgeous topper.  This is 3 coats of Eric on naked nails.  I was really surprised on how well this showed up on camera with no base underneath it.  I originally wanted to put it over top of a base to show how to use it as a topper but after doing the second coat on naked nails I thought to myself  "wow, this actually shows up really well on its own" so I completed it with a third coat instead.  I can actually see myself using this with a cute dress for a wedding or some similar effect just by itself.  It was really late at night when I took the picture so the shimmer of this polish isn't even close to fully captured using my light box but you can get a good sense of what Eric would go well with :).  Eric is a complete hit for me. I love how shimmery (gold hue) it is especially in combination with the red sparkles.  It's a very lovely contrast.  It was super easy to put on and surprisingly easy to take off compared to normal glitter toppers.  That's not to say that the longevity of Eric was short because it wasn't.  I had enough time in between receiving these polishes and taking these photos to test out Eric's wear time and it was 6 days before I took it off and not a single dent or scratch.  That's very impressive for me especially when nail polish is lucky not to peel off in one day haha.  So overall, Eric is a must buy when it comes to gorgeous red glitter toppers.  I personally think every girl (or boy) deserves a little splash of Eric to their collection ;D

M.T.L Creations Swatches

It's been a crazy past couple of months but I am happy to say that I'm finally making more time to do nails again.  I've really missed it!  I was recently contacted by the beautiful and very busy Cherise of M.T.L Creations nail polish to do some swatches of her new collection "True Blood Part 2".  I cant even tell you how excited I am to be reviewing these.  After my last experience with an Indie line, I didn't think I could be as wowed as I was with the last one but I am definitely eating my words on this one.  Maybe it's because I didn't realise how crappy drug store polishes are compared to Indies?  Who knows.  What I do know is that the True Blood Part 2 collection kicks major butt.  I'm seriously in love with every colour that I was sent to try. Over the next week, I'll be showing you guys each of the lovely pretties I was sent to test and will be letting you know what I thought of each of them!  I'll give you a warning right now though.  Any further reading about these beauties may lead you into making purchases you hadn't plan to make ;)  I hope you guys enjoy as much as I have!  If you'd like to check out Cherise's work ahead of time you'll find her on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/nl/shop/MyTrueLoveMTL and on at Instagram @mtlcreations.
